Two great studios, two different adventures.
Universal Studios Hollywood, CA opened in 1964 originally as a studio tour for getting an inside peek into the world of film and television. Families love the original Studio Tour, Fast & Furious immersive ride, and Jurassic ride. If you love tv and movies, this is a must-see place in LA.
Universal Orlando Resort opened in 1990 in Orlando, FL featuring Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park and now Volcano Bay water park. Universal's Islands of Adventure houses Harry Potter World and Jurassic Park, two of my favorites.
This park embodies more of a theme park feel, with the legendary Harry Potter experiences and Revenge of the Mummy, a psychological thriller ride. Kids love the interactive nature of the park and stellar rollercoaster rides.
Epic Universe, a new 750 acre property, is scheduled to open in Orlando in 2025 featuring Nintendo World, Star Trek Space Flight, and Harry Potter's Fantastic Beasts.
