After your first ride, if a selection return time is over 2 hours, whether you've gone to the ride or not, you don't have to wait to select another ride.
Genie+ is a paid service that can be bundled with package up front and tack it on to everything you have or buy it day to day $15/person. You can only use Genie+ once on a ride per day. But it does HOP with YOU.
The Genie essentially waits in line for you while you do other things in the park.
